Transmission swap problem

I have Honda Civic Lsi whitch had automatic transmission, but now it have manual transmission. After changeing transmission it gave out CEL 19 error. Another problem is that after changeing transmission, when car is cold the RPM is above 2000rpm. When i connect that plug near to gear switch rpm gets normal. What should i do? Is ECU for automatic transmission the same as manual? Help!

Automatic Honda civic wont reverse

take it back. They missed something. You should have a warranty on the work. Of course that does have limits which include both mileage driven and months since the vehicle was released to you. I am guessing you did not do the work since your saying you had it done. There really isn't much you can do other than have it taken apart and checked. So long as your TCM (transmission control module is not bad= computer for transmission)

Yes your original computer is set up for automatic transmission. You will have to get a computer out of a manual trans car and you wont have the problems.

I would have to see the car if you would need all of these, most likely you could do the flushes yourself if they are needed. Take the car to another shop and see what they recommend changing and at what price. Everything depends on actually seeing the car and whether the above have been done before. The prices aren't out of question.
