Question about 1992 Honda Accord
1992 Honda Accord won't start when hot - not sure if it's "firing" but I"ve seen comments that it's related to a main relay - one that might be located other than in the manual - behind the cruise control box to the left of legs.....sound like it might fix the problem.......It finally happened when someone else could see it besides me. When checked, it "didn't appear to be getting fuel" is the only other hint I have - but the idea of being a fuel pump and it not dying about a couple of times doesn't seem logical.
The relay that you are speaking of would be my primary suspicion. it is called a main relay, they typically run about $50 - $80. these are common for the contacts wearing out and becoming inopperable when hot, and not allowing the fuel pump to power up. good luck!
