Question about 2002 Chevrolet Express
Radio is controlled by the accessory delay relay which is supposed to stay on until the drivers door is opened
therefore, assuming the dome lights work correctly then you need to find out why the PCM does not notice the door opening and deactivate the relay
then of course there is the possibility that the accessory delay relay has failed and stuck closed which will not only keep the radio alive but also 6 of your computers which will easily kill the battery in a few hours
if you have some detailed electrical experience and a DVOM let me know and I'll give your some test to perform
but the easiest and most likely at this point will be to verify the dome light situation and then to replace the accessory delay relay
Keep me posted!
