Question about 1997 Isuzu Rodeo
The first thing to check is the fluid, and the next thing would be a defective band solenoid, That is the cause of a neutral to drive, harsh shift, the other one, low fluid says, slips, shudders in first gear. There is a big list of other things under the low fluid, but they will have to be done by a shop. You can change the solenoid yourself, but it is a job, just a little bigger than a filter change.
