The first thing to check is the fluid, and the next thing would be a defective band solenoid, That is the cause of a neutral to drive, harsh shift, the other one, low fluid says, slips, shudders in first gear. There is a big list of other things under the low fluid, but they will have to be done by a shop. You can change the solenoid yourself, but it is a job, just a little bigger than a filter change. Hope this helps.

Audi a4 sometimes jerking upon acceleration like it is not getting enough gas

did you check all new plugs before put it in the engine.was the pakkage from the plug good.are this the plug adviced by manuel.its also adviceseble when changing the plugs to check also co and rpm.
because that can change, new ones are stronger and gif more power.
try this start your engine, let it warm up 1 minit or so.then sudenly ,
you puch pedal fast but short down.when the engine stalls when puch down chould check acseleration sprayer.also there are somtimes more then one fuell can have one on fuell tank.
then on engine, and if its an caburator in there is a very tiny one.ask yourself did the car run good before you chanfe spark plugs.many things can change doing something as normal as plugs.

The accelerator pedal on my '99 silverado sticks closed. Every time I push on it, I have to break it loose, then it causes the truck to accelerate too much, so I'm always jerking forward. There's no way...

what you have happening is the throttle body is coked with carbon. get a can of carb cleaner and soak a rag down and open the throttle wide open and clean off all carbon from the throttle body and butterfly. this will solve this issue for you. hope this was helpful!

My car jerks forward seriously while accelerating. During that process, the engine revs and the car spurs forward each time it jerks. Please help.

Get ready to spend some big money. My dealership said it was a hose leak. Changed and reset the 2XXX codes. 2 weeks later I was back again then they tried saying it was my battery, reset it. I called BS searched here and read how the throttle body has to be replaced. $700 to replace it because the sensor in it can't soley be replaced, then it was all good for 2 mts but now I have a sputter problem above 45mph not sure if related.
