On my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan the brake lights and back turn signals work fine. I changed the bulbs no luck. Any ideas

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. Try checking your signal fuse and tail lamp fuse for the brake lights. They may have blown. If they are good, for the brake lights, you could have a bad brake switch, which is located right above your brake pedal. As for the turn signals, you could have a bad wire somewhere in the harness. Check closely at the bulb sockets. It is possible that you could have a loose wire at the signal switch or a bad wire.

I need to know the name of the part in my 95 dodge ram 1500 3.9 liter pickup that makes the brake lights work? The fuse is good and the light bulbs are good because the come on when the lights are turned...

Hello there, The name of the part you are looking for is called a brake light switch, Fairly simple to change and relativly inexpensive. It is located behind the top of the brake pedal. Just a thought for you, I would suggest replacing the tail light bulbs first because you can have running lights and turn signals but the brake portion is burnt out.

Good Luck and I hope this helps, Allen

Brake lights won't work.

Check the brake switch. It is located done by the brake pedal. The power goes from the fuse, through the brake switch, then to the bulbs.
