Question about 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier
Back of the handbrake lever where the rear ashtray is remove the screws that hold the centre consol down ,or behind the ashtray is a cover that you pull out exposing the cable adjuster ,best is too look at the rear brakes because if their drum brakes then the auto adjusters need adjusting manualy ,or some models have the handbrake inside the rear disk on brake shoes and they will need manually adjusting
