You will need some thing to hold the hood or tailgate up, at the end of each support there will be a metal clip, pop the clip off and snap lift support out and install new one, careful with your head, had many fall on my head, don't feel very good.

05 TrailBlazer 57,000 miles 4.2 6 cyl, bad vibration at cold startup, in idle and in drive, in reverse, smooth. Summer mornings just very slight. I live in central GA. My brother also has a TrailBlazer ...

WHEN YOU SAY THAT IT GOES AWAY IF YOU PUT IT IN REVERSE THE THERE HAS TO BE A MOUNT OR SOMETHING HITTING ON THE LEFT SIDE PUT IT ON A LIFT AND TAKE A BIG BAR AND MOVE THE MOTOR UP ON THE LEFT SIDE AND SEE IF THAT CHANGES THE FEEL CLEAN OUT THE THROTTLE PLATES AND SEE IF THAT TAKES CARE OF THE HESITATION

How do you change front turning signal bulbs on a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer? I believe you have to open the front grill.

You will only need to remove the headlight assembly. This is done by pulling up on the two tabs at the back of the assmebly then lift up and out.

2005 Trailblazer hatch will not stay up

I would simply recommend just going to an autoparts store and buying new gas shock replacements and take care of the problem. I would not mess with the old ones. I did find them at autozone.com Instead of them calling them gas shocks that actually refer to them as mighty lift/support lifts. The ones I looked up were $24.99. May depend on your model of Trailblazer, but this is just a ball park price. Hope this helps you.

I have to change the front diff.how complacated is it?

Not that hard as long as you can get the trailblazer high enough to drop the front differential axle and pumpkin. You have to unbolt the two CV Joint on the inner side and then disconnect the front prop shaft (Drive shaft), the hub locking assembly. Then it's just unbolting the pumpkin and axle shaft from the front frame mounts and dropping it one side first. If you can get under the trailblazer you can see what i am taking about. Good luck and hope this helps. Takes about 45 min to drop the old one from a lift and the right tools.
