Question about 2002 Land Rover Freelander
Hi iv a 1991 freelander 1.8 petrol, it has a water leak which we know where its coming from, was told just need o ring to fix this. but main problem is that when engine is warm it occasionaly stalls when stopping at traffic lights and roundabouts, when there is no exceleration, and worse in reverse gear, stalls nearly every time! checked oil and all ok so dont think its the head gasket. and local mecanic said clutch fine.
anyone have any ideas?? could it be something to do with fuel not getting through????
On the inlet manifold is a breather from the engine i think on this year so check for a split vacumn hose or a split breather pipe ,failing which it could be the thingy on the back end of the butterfly ,their is a sensor but iam pretty sure its a breather pipe or something stupid ,also pull the vac pipe out of the servo and just try pùtting a plug into pipe in case the servo diaphram has split
