Question about 1993 Toyota Corolla
Loosen the bolts for the alternator, then lever the alternator away from the block to tighten the belt.you have 2 bolts holding the alternator and 1 holding the adjusting arm.(loosen both ends/lever/then tighten)

loosen the adj bolts and pry the alt to tighten the belt. if you are at the end of the slot, you will need a new belt.

did you get the right length belt or correct belt? there should be a bolt to loosen or tighten your belt separate from the alternator.attach bolts..
