Question about 2000 Volkswagen Golf
You have a tension roller, it will be on a arm like piece with a roller. You will need to find out if the roller takes a allen wrench or socket. Also you will need something to use as a pull bar. Once you put the socket or ? on you will either push or pull slightly to fill the tension release. The belt can then be removed. Putting the belt back on, you will need to loosen the tension up again.
