DVD will not eject from movie player.

2008 Chevy Uplander. DVD will not eject from movie player. Movie plays, but won't eject. When I press the eject button it reads, LOAD/EJECT ERROR. Please help! I've been listening to the same movie for over a month now and even the kids are getting tired of it.

they don't sell repair parts for this to the public, u must remove the deck and send it in to a GM electronics repair center. Sorry but it has always been this way.

On some DVD player there is a little pinhole next to the opening or tray in case the disk or tray won't eject. You can unbend a paper clip and insert it into hole and see if it will eject. If not you will need to remove radio and have it serviced.

Your vehicle is not that old, take it to the dealer and see if your radio is still covered under warranty.

Good Luck!

try unhooking battery for a few minutes and see if resets system unlikely it will work but worth a shot. will most likely have to get it out with tweezers or a pick. when you do see if it is warped this would cause it to hang up

While in park, get the movie playing. Then press on the "Audio" button. This is the button that displays the speaker balance (front, back, left, right). While the audio display is still showing, put the car in drive (or reverse to back out and then drive). Once you are underway, press on the "Audio" button. The video will continue to play up front while you are driving. You have to do this each time, but its not that big of a deal. Obviously this is for the front passenger's use, and not intended for the driver.
