Question about 2003 Lincoln Navigator
That means a few things, your cap is not on correctly, it is not on tight enough, or the seal one the gas cap is bad and you need to replace the cap. I would first try to take the cap off, and then put it back on and make sure that you hear the clicks, if yours does not click then I would make sure that the cap is on nice and tight. If that doesnt work after a few days, then I would replace the cap. The problem is though that you will need to start and shut off your vehicle at least 15 times to reset the error message to make sure that you fixed the problem, unless you can clear the code with a OBD tool.
