Question about 2002 Oldsmobile Alero
I have a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero, and the owner's manual doesn't say anything about a timing belt or timining chain. When should timing belt be changed? Can anybody do it? Are there step by step instructions?
most manufactures call for timing belt/chains to be replaced approximately every 75,000 to 100,000 miles.
Timing belt replacement can be very difficult if you don't have much experience in that type of repair for the best step by step instructions it would be best too go and get a repair manual from your local parts distributor i would recommend getting a chilton repair manual.
hope this is helpful for you best of luck too you
