Hello there:
The first thing that you need to do is to remove the door panel than simply inspect the window and if it off track you should replace the actuator and the regulator
The reason for this is the actuator is what cranks the window via a cable and motor
They will eventually fail and need to be replaced
and it is highly recommended to replace them as a set because the price is not much different for the set ok?
Hope this is very helpful for you
Best regards Michael

If it doesn't go up or down it's usually the Power Window Motor is no longer funtioning, if the motor is funtioning than it the Power Window Regulator.

My 2004 acura rsx. the window track clips dont stick to the window when they go down. so the window works fine when it goes up. but doesnt come down with the track clips. is there a adhesive i can buy. or...

I had the same problem with our 2004 RSX. First the driver's side window now the passenger side. They tried to glue the window back twice (driver's side) and ended up having to replace the window and tabs. Now the passenger side did the same thing. My wife put up the window and it kept going, coming out of the track. I'm assuming the window will have to be replaced. Waiting for Acura's ruling. Must be a flaw in the tabs/glue...should have been a recall.

My driver side front window does not come down but the passanger side front and back and driver back do go up and down. Do i need to change the power window motor or is it the window regulator for driver...

regulator usually wears out and breaks or gets bound and burns up motor, change them both if available. Good sign of bad regulator is sloppy window in track, or window off track. I always replace them together if they are available. it is possible that you just need a switch, but most likely the reg/motor.

you must pull door panel off (you can find the tool at any parts deals) then lift the window up with hands only it is hard but can be done get some one to hold the window glass up and check to see if any parts have fall if so put back on or replace. if not missing clean track and crank up to glass and line up. wind up and down to make sure it stay and then re-place door panel. hope this works it did for me on my 95 contour
