You have a thermostat and that alone dictates what the temperature should be.
I will venture an educated guess of between 180 and 205 degrees F

2003 buick lesabre ac fan runs when car is cut off

How long does it run? The reason I ask is because it is designed to run after engine shut down under certain conditions of temperature to cool down the engine and prevent vapor lock in the fuel rail. If it just stays running all the time after the key is turned off that is of course a problem.

1994 Buick Lesabre calls for a 160 or 180 degree thermostat

that is the opening temperature for the thermostat
it opens at 160 degrees which is good for hot weather operation or another with 180 degrees which is good for cold weather operations
The differences is 160 opens sooner to start coolant circulation to keep operating temperature low where the 180 keeps shut and allows the operating temperature to rise up as soon as it open the cold air will quickly cool the coolant.

How do I replace the thermostat in my 1992 buick lesabre

Open the Century's hood. Follow the upper radiator hose from the engine to the coolant outlet housing, on the upper portion of the engine's side.Remove the bolts holding the coolant outlet housing to the engine, using a socket wrench and an 8 mm socket.Pull the coolant outlet housing off the engine, by hand. Shove a rag into the outlet housing to prevent debris from entering the engine.Clean the sealing surface on the engine and housing, using a gasket scraper.Remove the rags from the engine and coolant outlet housing. Start the engine and let it run until the temperature gauge reaches operating temperature.

2000 le sabre runs hot but when I put air on it cools down

SOUND LIKE FAULTY OPEN ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR. HAVE CAR HOOK TO CODE SCANNER WHERE YOU CAN SEE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE. IF ENGINE HOT AND CODE SCANNER SHOW LOWER TEMPERATURE LIKE 100 - 80 DEGREES ECT IS BAD.

2001 buick lesabre keeps running hot no issues with radiator what can this be

Make sure the coolant is full. Make sure that your fans are kicking on. You might have a bad coolant temperature sensor. You could have a defective water pump. If you have a check engine light, get it scanned. The computer may pick up this problem. If you need anything else, feel free to contact us again. Thank you very much for choosing FixYa. Good evening.

check to see if both hoses are hot going to your heater core if they are then core is fine. That would point to your temperature sensor.
