Question about 2003 Ford Escort
The first thing to do is to reset the codes and if it returns then i would say theres a problem with the alternator, or the wiring, if it returns it sounds like the alternator is taking a while before it starts charging and the computer sees this, i would find out how long it sits at school then drive it as if going to school but go to a garage and let car sit as you would at school, then have them hook up charging tester and start car and see if there is a problem, i assume this happens every time you leave school,if so problem should be easy to find, hope this helps.
