Use the cars ignition key, insert into lock next to boot/trunk manual release. NB lean on boot/truck lid as you turn key otherwise you run risk of breaking the key. Boot will open.

Central doorlock not working

in the event of a faulty/lost remote control or flat battery, the system can be overidden using two methods depending on the build date of the vehicle. up to september 1999 the ignition key overides the system after that date the digital key overide. The ignition key overide is in the form of a code of 5 digets recorded on a card and attached to owners manual. At the back. Code is also recorded on a tag with ignition key. If lost refer to dealer

My batteries are flat in My Jaguar S type 2000 reg, I want to open the luggage compartment but, I dont know how.

Use the ignition key, there is a key manual opener on the boot lid either on the trim or under the handle by the registration plate, use some WD40 first as the lock will be stiff from no use. hope this helps.

Sounds like a total battery drain - something left on that you do not know of? Open the boot using manual over-ride (ignition key or cabin pull cord)

Flat battery, cant open boot of merc s320

The positive terminal on what?, on the battery it is marked with a big + and the one with the - goes down to the car bodywork

Why not get a buddy to connect a set of jump leads onto your battery which will give you enough power to open the boot ?
