The only thing you use,is what is recommended in your owners manual.
Don't have one, Stop by a dealer and ask a tech those questions.

I need to do a oil change in my 96 2.6L magna how much oil do i need

Hey how r u after you drain the oil and change the filter put 4 quarts in and start the car wait for the oil pressure to built up about 2-3 minutes turn it off and check the oil this is the safest way to find out it a 4 cylinder so most likely 4 1/2 quarts but do what I said just to be safe be sure the gasket comes off with old oil filter if it stays on the motor and you put the new filter on top of it you will have a bad leak after you check the oil you will know how much oil you have to add then you will know how much it takes becareful getting under the car

Can you show me how to replace the starter motor of my magna 4 cylinder year model 1988

dont know what the heck the other answers were trying to do fix
T he question was how to remove the starter motor on a 4 cyl magna 1988 mitsubishi .. that makes it a TN or first gen magna

ok TN can be either carby or an EFI setup
disconnect battery
14mm bolts two hold the starter on
undo the battery positive cable on the starter

and the ignition wire on the starter

On an EFI you have to go under the engine and undo the support bracket of the efi inlet manifold to get the starter out
underneath the car
the interim shaft is one of the bolts holding the bracket to the block
on a carby you can do it from the top
from the drivers side

Type gear oil to use in tranny

A manual transmission should take 80/90 Hypoid gear oil . An automatic will use Mitsubishi diamond SP-II or SP- III ATF or equivalent (like Mercon V Synthetic). Do not over fill your transmission. Always check the level of your automatic transmission with the motor running.

1990 magna gearbox putnew cluch presureplate throwout bearing new master@slave cylender gear change good untill i start motor then no gears can start in gear drive@change soon as car stops sticks in gear...

Well, it sounds like the clutch cylinder / clutch linkage is not properly adjusted or the clutch cylinder is not fully bled, or it is malfunctioning -- it's not fully depressing the pressure plate when the pedal is pushed down, therefore, the clutch is still engaged.

1990 BMW 735i: oil in the coolant reservoir

If your car is an automatic there would be lines from the transmission to the rad to cool the transmision fluid. Over time the lines inside the rad have been known to corrode and start leaking. This would put oil in your coolant. You would be looking for small steel lines going in and out that would trace back to the transmission. Hope this helps.
