Question about 2001 Mazda MPV

1 Answer

A friend and I are replacing plug wires on a 2001 Mazda MPV. He took out all the plug wires without marking which plugs each wire went to. Do you know where I can find a diagram so I can rewire the plugs? Thanks!

I have a mazda mpv 2000 minivan.problem code p0301 misfire detected cylinder#1

I'd check #1 spark plug.
Usually a misfire code "fix" is a spark plug, spark plug wire, or a coil pack / distributor.
Keeping it simple...I'd go with the spark plug first and then look at the condition of the wires.

Hope this helps...

You may get one bad spark plug in 50 years of driving

Does that answer your question?

You did not diagnose your problem, which
was a misfire.

Do you have codes PO301 thru PO306?

Ignition Coils cause misfires
