Go to a garage to clear the code or take off the negative cable to your battery and leave it off for at least a hour to ensure the ecu is clear then hook the battery back up and try it.

You never drive even ten miles with ANY trans issue,
unless you plan on ruining it

You always diagnose & resolve All code related issues
BEFORE you can diagnose trans issues

The trans strategy is part of & based off a complete powertrain
package working properly & together

Diagnose all codes, fix those issueS,then work on the trans
solenoid for od & any codes it has.

Do not use it until ALL Issues are 100% THE ENTIRE VEHICLE
100%

I have no reverse or first gear in my 2001 Nissan maxima. The a/c has never worked and my check engine light has been on for a while. I already checked and changed my atf

Sounds like you don't ever take the car to a shop
to make any repairs & don't know about vehicle systems
that have been on all vehicles for 30 years & turn on check
lights & have codes avail to diagnose at least some of
the issues.
The transaxle issues are at least $2,500 repair, as the trans has to come out to be repaired.
The A/C could be $500 to $1,200 depending on the work needed.
Plus your code related issues
Your looking at at least $4,000 just to get most of the issues
repaired. I assume you bought someone else neglected car.

2004 Chevy Cavalier engine light and trac off light

One year ago---your check engine light came on
The PO405 code was for an EGR Valve issue
No mention--- if you had that fixed

A Few Days Ago---you get Trac Light on,that is part of
the ABS Braking System
Now that system has to be diagnosed & repaired, not just
continue to use the car, actually make the repair, before
you do some damage or can't stop the car & worse things happen

Changing Trans Fluid---is NOT a FIX for anything, but should
be done on all vehicles every 3 years.

If the Engine Management System isn't working correctly, then
your trans won't work as it should either

You need to be proactive & immediately have any abnormal
operation or check light problems, at least diagnosed in a few days
of noticing them

You need to stop using any car that isn't 100% & have it
repaired as soon as possible.

Not wait weeks or years.
Being 9 years old, the trans may also have it's own issues

It sometimes don't go over into overdrive but when it goes in there is no prolem can it be the wrong oil. The ABS light stays on. What oil must I use

The ABS Light is where you start

Just another Malfunction Lamp on your dash

Have the abs system checked, to get the code &
repaired first
May just be a wheel speed sensor

The Oil -- I assume is trans fluid, that your referring to
How would anything but trans fluid be in the trans?
You have several types ,so you must know which
type goes into almost all chrysler vehicles & it is in the
owners manual & on the dip stick

When your having the abs checked out,ask about the
overdrive issue, by going on a road test, with you driving
& a mechanic riding or don't leave the truck at that shop

Where is a dipstick for the automatic transmission fluid level located on 2006 Torrent

there is no dipstick. the fluid must be checked from under the vehicle. fluid must be at 209* f.
or trans will be overfilled. there is a plug on the right end of the trans( 7/16" )& must be removed with engine running, if at proper temp & fluid comes out then trans is full.
