Po311 is cylinder 11 is misfiring. so you must have the wrong code. are you talking about the intake air tempurature sensor, IAT. if so it is located in big hose from air cleaner, the first sensor in hose. po113 is this sensor.

My MAF sensor was changed,vacuum hose has no leaks, and when the car was put on a machine, only the MAF sensor showed up, why does the car run for a minute then shuts off? 2001 chevy malibu


If you are in a cold climate it would sound more like an intake air temp sensor. (IAT) i had a similar problem with my chevy tahoe.

intake air sensor? there is a air sensor on the air cleaner box, there is a mass airflow sensor on the rubber hose to the throttle body, there is a idle air control on the throttle body that looks like a little black motor,

Need torque specs for 2000 chevy malibu 3.1 cyl heads & intake


(step 1 ) the torque specs for the heads are---1998 through 2001 are 37 foot lbs. ( step 2) rotate an additional 90-degrees (1/4 turn). intake manifold bolts ( lower ) step 1-- 62 in-lbs, step 2--115 in-lbs. intake manifold bolts/studs ( upper ) 18 ft-lbs. this is for the 3.1 v-6, have a good day!

Where is the crank sensor located on a chevy malibu 2001


It should be down near the crankshaft pulley. Remove the the right front wheel and the splash shield, it should be there next to the pulley.

p1111 is iat sensor curcuit 1 high input. hope this helps.

please explain in plain queens english as to what this valve is or what it does please ,never heard of this before,is it measuring the amount of evaporation of fuel in the inlet manifold?? the evaporation of the fuel in the tank ??

2001 chevy malibu- when car starts cooling fans do not come on but then do


your coolant temp sensor on the engine block is probably faulty, however, keep in mind that if it really isn't all that hot outside they may not need to turn on. Once you activate the A/C the fans come on automatically since they have to cool the condensor...

If your car is not overheating do not worry about it.
