Hi,

1996 Mercury Grand Marquis wipers don't work. I changed the motor and the fuse isn't blown

You need to take the plastic cowls off that cover the wiper arm linkage and wiper transmission to inspect it...cowl is held on with 3 Phillips screws near windshield and some one inch wide metal clips, take off the gasket that fits on top. If both are not working check the transmission where linkages attach, if one wiper blade is not working it is usually the drivers side where the nylon bushing that forns a ball/socket sort of connection fails due to build up of debris and the rusting of parts that follows, let me know if this helps.

2001 grand marquis windshield wipers runs in high nothin else wont go in park either

If you are having problems with the wipers not wanting to park, that is usually the park switch inside the wiper motor. The low and interm speed settings could be the delay module which could also affect park.
You may need a shop manual to troubleshoot the circuits.

The wipers wnt go down after i turn off the car. they work but juz wnt go down . its for a 2001 grand marquis

A common problem for all fords and mercury's, a little plastic gear in the wiper motor breaks and prevents the wipers from going into park. Ford wants about $250 to fix it, they replace the whole motor. I found one out of an 87 fairmont that worked, but you can find the motor at the parts store for a lot less and it is simple to fix, Hope this helps.

Wiper speed control for a '97 Mercury Grand Marquis. What causes the wiper to work on high speed only?

Intermittent wiper control stopped working on my 1996 GM last spring. I ended up replacing the wiper motor ($100.00 part). Since I have found it on Amazon for $58 including shipping. It works fine now. Only bad part was all the "stuff" that has to come out (like dead leaves!) to get to the wiper motor. Also make sure you have your wipers in the down position when you replace the motor.
