Question about 1994 Plymouth Voyager

2 Answers

My 1994 Voyager dies sometimes when I slow down to stop. It's not every time, and there seems to be no specific reason, but it's often enough that I'm afraid to drive with my infant son. Any ideas?

Stop using it, and take it to a repair shop and have the issues properly taken care of.

Not getting enough fuel. There are two coolant temperature sensors one for the gauge. one for the computer. the one to the computer monitors fuel. When it fails the engine is slow to start the first try and there is a strong odor of gasoline. The engine will run rough at some speeds and sometimes stall.

Pull the MAF sensor and give it a cleaning the correct way.Sometimes something shorts those probes(tiny wires and delicate) and your engine will cut a shine on you.
Look up how to clean the MAF sensor if you don't know how. don-ohio

94 Chevy 1500 truck, seems to be getting fuel, pump sounds like working when checked. Replaced Mapping sensor, had distributor check, but truck continues to run fine for awhile, then just die for no reason...

These sometimes have problems with the magnet on the distributor shaft loosing magnetism. This causes the pickup coil not to be able to produce a strong enough signal for the ignition module and the engine dies because of no spark.
