Question about 1999 Dodge Caravan
Knock and clunking sound mostly when i turn not a click ing sound like a cv joint
This is an easy one! These vans had a lot of problems with intermediate sway bar bushings. They are fairly cheap but a bit of a pain to change if you don't have a hoist as they are way under the van behind part of the front cross member. I would phone around and get a couple of quote from local shops, it should cost about $150. parts and labor. It is possible that the sway bar end links are worn as well, but 9 times out of 10 the bushings are all you'll need.
