The lights are on their own personal circuit from the starter. Every time you turn the key on the connections are getting warmer each time. You state after the 3rd time it will start. You will need to check all connections to make sure they are very clean and tight. A loose or corroded connection will cause a problem such as yours

Have you tried wiggling the steering wheel? I have a 2005 and mine does that sometimes, but I wiggle the steering wheel back and forth and finally the key starts the car.

2004 crossfire engine dies at speed

Hello Paul, You stated your crossfire stalls and the usually restarts. It could be several things that cause this... If the check engine light is on, have it scanned to determine what caused it to come on - It sounds like you are having an intermittent crankshaft position sensor failure. I hope this information is helpful...Happy Holidays.

My 2004 F 150 intermittently looses its spark. will not start with the key, but it will start with remote start, but intermittently

Maybe fuel pump issue. maybe crank sensor issue. sounds like it doesnt matter if you remote start or key start. You just have an intermittant issue. If its the crank sensor you should have a code stored even tho the light is still off. If its a fuel pump issue your prabably going to have to do a pressure test to be sure or spray quick start when it doesnt start. If it starts and stalls then you know you havea fuel issue. Try rotating the fuel pump relay with the horn relay. Your owners manual should say which one it is. If not just move them all one space like musical chairs. You have several that are the same. The relays are in the fuse block under the hood and are the larger rectangular ones.

Chrysler Crossfire will not start

It turns out that the fuel pump relay is the problem and that this (per chrysler) is a common problem with the crossfire.

Oil light

Hi lady d tilli,

Take off the fuse cover on the drivers side of the dash. there should be a bunch of fuses. in the middle is a red button that says "reset." turn your key to the on position, but DO NOT START. press the reset button until the change oil light blinks, then turn the key back off it should be fine after that. for the 05's theres somthing you have to do with the gas pedal. i think you do the same, by turning the key on but not starting...and then tapping the gas pedal 3 times.

Hope this helps a bit,
Good luck,
Eitan.
