THERE IS A SENSOR IN THE TRUNK LATCH THAT SENDS A SIGNAL TO THE IMMOBILIZER MODULE THAT IT IS OPEN OR CLOSED, CONTACT THE DEALER FOR A REPLACEMENT LATCH AJAR SENSOR, WHEN U BUY THE PART ASK THE DEALER TO SHOW U WHERE IT IS LOCATED BY PRINTING A COPY OF THE DEALER PARTS DIAGRAM OF THE LATCH AND THE SNESOR.
