Question about 1999 Chrysler Sebring
I have a 2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. I just bought it 2 weeks ago from used car dealer. I kept smelling gas fumes so when I took it back to car dealer, he replaced the 'evaporator' hose and proclaimed it fixed. But the service manager at a local regular chrysler dealer told me it might be more to the problem that just that hose. Any insight anyone can share on this?

There is a cover over the bulb that is removed by turning counter clockwise. (as viewed from the back of the housing)
Remove the spring clip that holds the bulb and pull out bulb.
Plug in new bulb (do not touch glass with hands) and install re-install spring clip and back cover.

you need to loosen the clamp on the throttle body and unplug the map sensor then there are two clips on the other end pull that out and you should be able to pull the filter out you don't need to take the box off.

Sounds like you need to get it scanned for trouble codes. It will most likely need a new air bag clock spring. This is the wound connection under the steering wheel, it is a common failure item. It may be some other things related to the safty restraint system, but that will show up in a vehicle scan.
