The 2001 Ford Mustang CCRM (Constant Control Relay Module). is located inside the inner front left (passenger-side) fender. Please note, the CCRM also houses other relays such as the PCM power relay, fan, relay, ect. and thus on relay cannot be replaced... the entire assembly must be replaced if one of any of the relays go bad. The dealer can run a functional test of this multi function relay with a Ford scanner, due to the cost of this part I strongly suggest u have it tested, they seldom fail, I am speaking from 35 years experience as a Ford dealer technician

Ok well my ac clutch will not engage. what is very odd is that I have voltage to the ac clutch plug, but it will not flow through the coil. The coil is good. I jumped it to the battery and it engages the clutch....The only thing left is that relay, unless there is another ac clutch relay?

  • corny9373 May 27, 2010

Said this is the cooling fan relay.

this module (called the CCRM, short for "contant comntrol relay module") contains the relays for AC compressor clutch, the fuel pump the cooling fan and the electronic engine control computer (called the PCM), it is a combination relay controller, do u realize that if the AC system is low on refridgerant charge the clutch will not engage? low charge caused by AC leaks is very common on this car. to verify this jumper the AC compressor cycling switch that is located on the low pressure side of the AC system, it is either in the larger of the 2 AC lines or it is on the accumulator can that the line goes to.

I jumpered both the high and low switches, not much left to check... Thank you for your help on this.

Where is the fuel relay on the'96 mustang

You're not gonna liek this one. The Fuel pump relay on a mustang of that year is part of a multi-function relay called the CCRM (constant control relay module) and is located beneath the passenger side fender liner, meaning you'll have to take the fender off to get to it. Horrible placement, if you ask me..

Where is the fuel pump relay on 1998 mustang???? Exact location???? thanks for your help.

First thing to note is that the relay is housed in a Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM). This module contains the relay for the Fuel Pump, Cooling Fan, and Air Conditioning Clutch.

In our 1998 Mustang V6, the location of the CCRM is behind the passenger side wheel well plastic cover. Looking at the wheel dead on - it's found at around the 1 o'clock position. To confirm it's location without removing any plastic wheel well cover - pop the hood, and look for a wire harness routing from the engine compartment INTO the passenger side front fender (near the air cleaner). Flash a light in there, and you'll see a connector attached to the module.

I'll save you some headaches in finding the right size tool to remove the connector as well - I used a 5mm nut wrench to remove the connector from the module. Do this first so that you can access one of the two bolts that holds the module bracket to the fender. user_offline.gif found this at the allfordmustangs web site. hope this helps

Wher is fuel pump relay on 1995 ford mustang gt 5.0 @

According to the information that I'm finding, the fuel pump relay on '94 Mustangs is part of the Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM). According to mustang-tech.org, the CCRM is the black box that's mounted on the radiator overflow. http://www.mustang-tech.org/wiki/94-95_Mustangs_Electrical_CCRM
