Question about 2008 Ford Focus
The wrench light IS NOT a MIL light as the above simpleton has suggested ( that would be your check engine light) the wrench light indicates drive train issues TRANSMISSION !!!

I assume you have no owners manual or never read it.
The wrench is a MIL Lamp--- a Malfunction Indicator Lamp
It tells you that something like a sensor or other issues,is out of range,as far as the PCM (Computer) sees it. When ever you get a check light,mil light,trac,abs ,etc,you go to a repair shop fairly soon,like a couple of days or so, and have the issues checked out. This will happen a couple times a year ,on most of todays vehicles,so get used to it,and expect to pay a diagnostic fee, plus repair
