Question about 1989 Cadillac Sedan DeVille
If you have not already found a solution to your problem, and all of the fuses are good, then the problem that you are having sounds like a broken wire(s) inside of the weather boot that runs between the drivers side door and the body of the vehicle.
Any broken wires that you do find should be soldered back together well and do not use wire connectors. If you must lengthen any wires be sure to use the same ga. wire that you are repairing.
