you have to do an automated bleed with a scan tool. There is a section in the scan tool to do such a task.

1999 buick century brake pedal goes to floor-put new master cylinder on and blead both brake lines and master cylinder and pedal still goes to floor

Sounds like you may have a hydraulic leak somewhere. Check the rear wheel cylinders and front brake hoses going to the calipers.

I have a 96 silverado with abs, a friend owed me some money so i told him to put new front brake pads and get the front rotors and rear drums turned, he finshed the job and called me and said my brakes are...

PRe bleed the master cylinder, using a kit that hooks up to the brake lines connection and the other end goes into the fluid reservoir. Bleed until no bubbles. then reinstall brake lines, one at a time, and then continue bleeding the system. DO NOT let the fluid run low in M/C or start all over again. Kit can be purchased at after market parts stores.

I am having a problem bleading my 2000 grand pris brakes. check all the brake line no leaks but when i bleed the brabe pedal coes to the floor. i have also bleeb frunt to rear and rear to frunt.

This is a two person job. You have one push the brake pedal to the floor and hold it there. Then the other opens the bleed valve until brake fluid comes out. Close the bleed valve and have the other person release the brake pedal. Repeat. Continue doing this on each brake bleed valve until there is no more air coming out of the lines at each bleed valve just a solid stream of fluid. Fill master reservoir back up with brake fluid as needed through the process. You bleed from farthest to closest meaning from rear to front.

Rear brakes will not stop car. Have had them fixed three times already and thus far have spent over $500 and still have the problem. The brake fluid is full and that was checked Sunday

well the rear brakes are only for hard stopping for when you slam on your brakes. If you have the problem when you slam on them, then there may be something it the brake line blocking the fluid. or your brakes were not blead out right

Can I replace a brake hose front and back on 95 escort easily???

Not a good idea, if vehichle has abs then you can't blead it properly and even if it did'nt without bleading system, air in lines can cause brake failure.

You might have a nother line leaking, or just not enough patience for the fluid to run to the back.

How to bleed brakes

Sounds like the proportioning valve is stuck. You may need to break a front bleeder loose and hit the pedal the unseat the valve. Then blead the rearbrakse and then bleed the wheel where you broke the bleeder loose. That should work.

Good Luck

Reconnecting caliper to rotor on 2005 pt cruiser

you need to open the caliper bleader valve and release the preasure out of the line. so that the brakes will retrat against the caliber. than you should be able to put them on the rotor. they might be a little snug but they will go on. than close the caliber. now you need to blead the brakes.
1a.Make sure that there is brake fluid in the resivoir.
1b.start the car and have it running until all the brakes have been blead up.
2.Go to the passengers rear and lossen the bleader valve.
3.have someone press the break until you see a steady flow of break fluid comeing out of the line.
4.once that has happend have them press the brake again and hold it to the floor.
5. tighten the bleader valve.
6.go to the drivers rear and follow steps 1-5 again
7.go to the passangers front follow steps 1-5 again
8. go to the driver side front and follow 1-5 again.
you might have to turn the wheel so the person can reach the bleader vavle up front.
Remember to check you fluid after every time you finish with a brake so you do not runn out of fluid and put more air into the lines..... also remeber to alway start with the brake farthest away from the resivoir. you always do them in order 1passanger rear2.drivers rear 3.passangers front. 4. drivers front.
if you need further assistance please let me know

2000 chevy lunima rear brake line blew replaced brake line and bleed but anti-brake lite stays on

Chevys are bare to blead, especially if it has ABS. Chevy dealers actually use TECH 2 / their computer to blead ABS systems properly. With it, they open the ports in ABS module, which helps the brake fluid flow. Unless of course you have ripped the sensor wire for ABS by accident.
