To properly diagnosis this I would have to place the vehicle on a lift and do a proper visual inspection. Therefore, I recommend taking it back to the Body Shop that did the initial repair and have them look into it.

Where is location of shift solenoid a located on 05 cobalt?

The shift solenoid valves are two identical, electronic exhaust valves that control upshifts and downshifts in all forward gear ranges. These valves are normally open. These shift solenoid valves work together in a combination of ON and OFF sequences in order to control the positions of the 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 shift valve trains. The TCM monitors numerous inputs to determine the appropriate solenoid state combination and transmission gear for the vehicle operating conditions.
Remove the transmission side cover. Refer to Control Valve Body Cover Replacement . Remove the 1-2 shift solenoid retainer clip (304), the 1-2 shift solenoid (305) with O-ring (303), the 1-2 shift valve (302), and the 1-2 shift valve spring (301).
Remove the PNP switch. Refer to Park/Neutral Position Switch Replacement . Remove the transmission upper side cover bolts. Install the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture in Engine Mechanical. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information. Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels. Remove the left inner fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End. Remove the wheel drive shaft from the transmission. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement in Wheel Drive Shafts. Remove the power steering gear mounting bolts. How too remoove driver side fender 2005 envoy

once you have removed the headlight assembly and remove the bolt behind the headlight assembly, continue locating the 10mm bolts attaching the fender along the top side, along the bottom in front and behind of the tire, open the drivers side front door, look into the opening between the door hinges and with a flashlight and a long extension on your ratchet you will then remove the two bolts between the fender and door, one on top and one at the bottom. you also have to remove the retaining bolts that attach the inner fender liner to the fender.

How to change the alternator in my 2005 Hyundia Tucson? Can not get the bottom bolt out. What do I remove to get at it.

On the Tucson it is quite easy..... have changed 2 on my 2005 it in this sequence and you shouldn't have any problems 1st disconnect both cables on the battery then do it 2nd remove serpentine belt... 3rd jack up the car at least where the tire is at least 4 inches off the ground.. 4th remove tire.. 5th remove inner splash guard.... 6th remove brake riser bracket... (2 bolts)... 7th remove upper bolt on alt... 8th remove upper alt bracket (2 bolts)....9th this is the hard one remove the lower bolt on the alt.... the bolt cannot be removed the lower mount actually drops into the mount.... it lifts up.... disconnect both cables one snaps in the other bolts on reverse the order and you can have it done in less than 2 hrs total time

Where is the egr valve on a 2005 dodge durango w/ a 4.7 engine

It is on the drivers side, rear of engine. You will have to take the air housing off. Use 13mm deep socket to remove the 2 13mm bolts, and then take off the inner tire splash pannel. then 8mm with a 1.5 to 2 foot extension to take out 1 tube bolt, loosen other one & pull out the entire thing. the reverse the procees to install the new one. Its not as easy as it sounds and i recomend using air tools if you have them for the 2 13mm's. I also grabbed a diagram offline for you.

Hope this helps =)
