Hi could you just check and make sure the other window goes up and down on the other back door, if it does then the problem is going to be with the window motor regulator, as you know the motor works then all your going to need to replace is the regulator, now to be sure you can replace this part on its own then your going to need to ring around a few car spares shops and check they stock this part.

if the other window at the back dont go up or down then check you have not got the back windows switched off in the front of vehicle and switch on if it is off if it then works your going to need to replace the front switch if it still dont work then your going to need to replace the window motor regulator.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Two things to test here:
- Provissional way, change the control switch with the other window and try it, if this work, you have the control switch or bottom switch bad; Jeep-WJ-Grand-Cherokee-Service-Manual-PDF-08S-Elevalunas-Electricos (Windows Motor in spanish)
- If dont work, check the wiring, its possible that you have any internal broke wire; Jeep-WJ-Grand-Cherokee-Service-Manual-PDF-08W-Diagrama-de-Cableado (Wiring Diagrams in spanish)

My power seats and only the power windows on right side quit working on my 2007 silverado classic lt1500 I replaced the circuit breakers already and it did not fix the problem

Does you truck have Memory Seats ? There are 2 options of power seat systems available in full size trucks. The first is 6 way driver and passenger power seats without memory. The second is an 8-way driver seat plus 4-way lumbar with memory, heat and optional cool function.
If you replaced the circuit breaker , did you check for B+ voltage at the switch ? If you have memory seats there is a control module that is in the mix.
For the power windows same thing here ,the BCM - body control module is involved .A factory Tech 2 scan tool is still the best tool to use ,checking data parameters .
The switch for the front passenger power window has 2 positions UP and DOWN, and it's position is a direct input into the PDS. Upon receiving a request for power window operation (switch activation), the PDS supplies voltage to the power window motor right front up or down circuit and grounds the opposite and the power window motor runs to drive the window UP or DOWN.
The front passenger power window can also be operated from the driver master control. The front passenger window switch on the driver master control has 2 positions UP and DOWN and it's position is a direct input into the DDS. Upon receiving a request for front passenger power window operation, the DDS transmits a GMLAN message indicating the changed switch position. When the PDS receives this message, the PDS supplies voltage to the power window motor right front up or down circuit and grounds the opposite and the power window motor runs to move the window UP or DOWN.
GMLAN - is a data bus communication network that vehicle modules talk together on.
Rear Passenger Power Window Operation (RPO A31/AN3/DL3)
The body control module (BCM) monitors the window UP/DOWN command from the DDS. When the rear window UP or DOWN command is received, the BCM sends a signal to the appropriate rear window switch. The rear window switches continuously monitor the up and down signal circuits, if no function is being commanded, the signal voltage is at approximately B+ voltage. If the UP or DOWN function is commanded, the BCM signal voltage drops approximately 5 volts and the appropriate rear window switch will then command the window in the UP or DOWN direction.
Your best bet would be to take your truck to a GM dealer !

Power window wont work

Probably a bad switch. Try removing the panel and with a 12 - 18 volt drill battery by your side, disconnect or cut the heavy gauge wires going to your motor. Use the drill battery to attempt to raise your window. reverse the connections if the window doesn't do anything. If it raises, reconnect your wires and tape them up and replace your switch

Rear Driver Power Window

You will have to take the inner door panel off to see if it is the motor or the wiring to it. There would be two wires going to the motor from the switch-one turns the motor one way to raise, and the other wire will turn motor in opposite direction to lower the window, all depending which way the switch is operated. You could take off the connector at the switch and use a testlight to check the wiring: key on, use the switch and see if power is present at the motor. If it is, it must be a worn motor. Consult a repair manual for proper removal procedure of the motor-sometimes the window regulator that the motor attaches to is under spring pressure. If there was no power to the motor, you'll have to trace the wires back to the switch, and possibly on to the master switch to find the problem.

Passenger power window does not raise

Could be an issue with the motor itself.
Remove the door panel, and unplug the power window motor pigtail, and apply power directly to the motor. One direction is window up, reverse polarity the window goes down.
Some good directions with pictures on removing the door panel are from Muth Signal mirror.

http://www.muthco.com/support/manuals/

Search on the page for the MY range and type under the Ford section.
Obviously only follow the direction to the point of removing the door panel, no need to remove the mirror.

Once the door panel is off, you can follow the wires to the power window motor.
This is what the pigtail looks like

If the motor does not raise the window, follow the thread at F150online on drilling the door to remove the motor and thump it against your rear tire
http://www.f150online.com/forums/electrical-systems/237795-removing-window-motor.html

Could be the carbon dust in the motor is holding it up. Could work for a short time, could work long term. Worth a try before repalcing the motor @ ~ 140.00

Driver's side power window won't work in '96 honda accord. stuck in the down position.

Its most likely a faulty power window motor. They all have individual circuit breakers inside the motor or switch, they aren't on a fuse. They quite often fail in either full up or full down positions, but can stop anywhere. Remove the door panel and locate the 2 wire connector coming from the motor. If you have a test light jumper across both wires (on the vehicle side of connector), while using the switch. It should light up in both directions (bi-directional motor). If the test light only lights in one direction or neither, it is most likely a bad window switch. To verify, jumper 12Volts to one side of the window motor connection and ground the other. The window should move in one direction, revrse the 2 wires the window moves in opposite direction then the motor is good.

2003 grand am-rear window lowers but wont raise-motor working both directions-can raise window by hand-dont know about cable operated-diagrams?

Sounds like the two tabs that connect the window glass to the motor hardware may be broken off. This happened to me before. It will let the window go down because gravity and the weight of the window let it fall but when you try to close the window it is only getting pushed up with either the front or back tab on the window jamming it in the tracks and not letting it go up.

Driver power window wont work???

sounds like your window lift motor may be bad but you can test it by
The window switch and master switch are actually wired in series. A problem with either switch affects motor operation.
A dead motor can be diagnosed with a 12-volt light or voltmeter by first ensuring that B+ is available to both switches. Moving the switches should switch the B+ from one side to the other. By connecting a testlight across the switch, the presence of voltage and the switch itself can be checked.
The motor is checked easily by jumping the terminals to B+ and ground. Reversing the connections should reverse the direction of the motor, raising and lowering the window.
Corroded switch contacts are a source of excessive resistance.

Passenger window will not rais

Remove the door panel and unplug the window lift motor. Connect a test light across the harness plug and try the switch in both directions. If it lights in both the motor is bad or the regulator is stuck. You can put an ammeter in line and apply power again. If the amperage is high, the regulator is probably stuck. Good Luck.

Driver's side window will not work. We have replaced the switch and it is still not working- all other windows are fine.

Have you checked with a volt meter that you are getting 12volts at the switch? If you have voltage coming to and going out of the switch then your problem is the motor that raises and lowers the window. There are many Ebay vendors that sell replacement motors for way less than a factory brand unit. Search for Tahoe power window motor - I got lots of hits, cost around $38. Changing it takes a little time and effort (about 3 wrenches hard) but can be done if you want to save a bunch of bucks.
Good luck...

2001 ford sport trac with power rear window

You have an electric window right? if so the motor brushes are most likely stuck ( common concern), try hitting the bottom front of door panel with palm of your hand while holding the switch to down or up, if the window springs to life the motor is defective, in any event you need to pull the door panel and test the motor for 12 volt signal to one of the terminals, 12 volt signal will reverse on the connector depending which direction the switch is held to operate the window. If the 12 volts is prsent replace the motor, I wopuld recommend rockauto web site for best price.
