Check all fuses first. If you have done that, make sure to carefully check all wires that lead to your coil and distributor for bad connections and corrosion (blue powder on wires) clean and replace as needed. There is also usually an ignition module on or near the distributor. This could also be the problem if it wasn't replaced.

SOURCE: No spark to the plugs.

I replaced plugs-wires-coil pack-cam sensor-check fuses under hood and still no spark-finally if you look at the fuse box under hood (driver side next to battery-coming out black box-carefuly remove tape wrap from bundle, find the 2 red wires w/white stripe, follow those to where they connect to one red/white stripe wire(half way between box and washer fluid res.remove factory tape there-if there is powder corrossion reconnect and splice wires together-my truck started right up-hope this is the problem.DakotaDoug

could be your coil, but can also be internal, have you replaced both the air & fuel filters ? if so, dump some good fuel injector cleaner into tank when half empty , top off with 91-92 octane fuel, see how that works for you, do some highway driving, stop & go traffic creates problems, todays fuel w/ethonal is bad for older cars, be sure to have code cleared from ecm !

Can you tell me the complete details of a tune up for a chevy s10 4.3 liter

Tune-up ?

(Spark Plugs)

Computers --- ECM/PCM have been
tuning engines since 1980.

You got air filter, cabin filter, gas filter,
dist cap & rotor, on some vehicles, some
have ignition wires that last 15 years &
everyone changes them for no reason,
just as they change a PCV Valve that never
need to be changed

My 1999 chevy blaxer ls turns over but will not start, i can smell the gas but it just donesn't start, what could be the problem?

A lot of solutions for this. It could be fuel pump, timing, crankshaft sensor,. Question? Was the check engine light on before it quit on you? Hmmmm. If so we need to scan the codes to find out whats wrong. If not we need to find out if the problem is fuel related or electrical. How many miles on the vehicle? Good luck!!!!

No spark to the plugs.

Check fuses inside the engine compartment. Remove each one, and plug it back in, to make sure it has a good contact.

My 92 automatic 1.8l subie wagon new dist coil wires plugs cap rotor starter. alt is newer still no spark but rotor is turning drove home turned off car did not start again did this the first time and...

try and use the factory recomended coil, incorrect coil can heat up and than not acheive the required discharge to fire the plugs. also will lead to the coil failing, or ECM faulting and throwing a Check Engine Light.

We replaced the crank sensor and cam sensor on a new 5.2 engine in a 1998 Dodge Durango. We checked and rechecked the connections and still no spark.

check the wiring harness at the coil, sometimes that plug will get loose or dirty resulting in a no spark.
The only ign system parts are the crank sensor, cam sensor, dist, dist cap, rotor, spark plugs, wires, and coil, and the ecm which controls all of these,is there a check engine light on?
run a scan tool to check for stored codes or system events stored in the ecm.
