If your talking about the ac/heat blower motor take the wire off test it with a volt meter.

if you have no power check the fuse panel if you have power there you have a short in a wire or a relay if it has one i had a blazer s-10 kept shorting out on high and sometimes in all speeds and the relay was shorting out at the wires the relay was good bend the wires or probe back a bit on the wires to see if voltage is there.

if your saying your panel also is not lighting up or no current there thats a fuse more than likely unless something shorted out behing the dash and wire is burnt maybe pinched or cut.

Go to bimmerfeast.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143393. This is for ser 5 but same system for 7. Check wiring plug and socket for signs of overheating.

I have a 98 bonneville se. the blower fan only comes on when the knob is all the way up and it ONLY blows heat and absolutely no cold also the air only blows out the defroster and the floor

How did you test the A/C system ? Hook up gauge manifold , test A/C pressures ? Manual or automatic climate control ? The blower motor only working on high means the blower motor resistor is bad ! Did you hook up a scan tool an check high an low pressure switchs inputs to the PCM - engine computer . Does the A/C compressor clutch engage ? turning on the compressor ? Moving the mode switch does nothing . Doesn't move from floor to vent to defrost ? Probably the mode door actuator ! Don't think the HVAC control panel is bad . Just a few little things . Pushing the A/C button on the control panel just send a electrical signal to the PCM , the PCM will energize the A/C clutch relay , turning on the compressor .

I have a 2007 Chevy Express 3500 Ext. - My rear air just stopped. A/c works as normal up front but no blower running in the rear. I have checked all the fuses, what I could find. What next?

the rear blower has its own motor in the back the rear blower motor may be bad or the wires going to it may be bad test for power going to blower motor if you have power in harness hooking to blower motor then blower motor may be at fault auto parts store sells the book on your vehicle its about 18 dollars if not lesser buy a test light trace down your problem if the fuse is good your rear blower motor will be in the back of your vehicle theres a cover that pulls air in back there take the cover of it off you will see your blower motor test wireing going to it for power theres also blower motor relays research it read and you will find the problem good luck

Wiring diagram for 2005 Dodge Caravan, rear blower for heating /AC

The most common problem would be a bad blower at which you can test for power at the motor connector with a testlight, the other most common problem is the resisitor ,theres one for the front blower and one for the rear blower, you may have a bad resisitor for the rear blower this resistor is located next to blower.theres also arelay in the fuse/relay box next to the battery under the hood, the best thing is to start testing for ower at the switch and work your way to resistor, i think you will find a bad resistor to rear blower motor.heres a complete wiring diagram of the whole front and rear heat and ac unit, everything is labeled good luck.johnjohn2_51.gif

I have 2002 infinity I35 and the blower motor stop working ,I took out the blower motor to make sure was good. YES the blower motor still working .the only think I really don't know how to check is Blower...

WELL YOU HAVE TO USE A VOLT METER CONNECT ONE VOLT METER WIRES TO GOOD GROUND AND THE OTHER VOLT METER WIRES GOES TO EACH SWITCH SPEED.IF VOLT METER GET VOLTAGE A 1 OR 2 CONTROL SPEED RESISTOR BAD.IF RESISTOR BAD YOU WILL GET 1 OR 2 BLOWER MOTOR SPEEDS.IF BLOWER MOTOR WORKING.CHECK THE AC AND HEATER CONTROL SWITCH FUSE OR CHECK BLOWER MOTOR FUSE AND RELAY.IF ALL GOOD SO FAR CONTROL SWITCH ITSELF COULD BE FAULTY.

The blower motor will not work in the vehicle but I can hook up a 12 volt source from the outside and it will work what could be the problem?

I would think that either the fan switch or the resistor would be your problem if you've ruled out any fuse or wiring issues. By testing the voltage going in & out of both components, preferably with a digital multimeter but a 12 volt test light can be used, you will eliminate purchasing parts needlessly. If you end up getting voltage to the fan then see below remarks.

The blower motor still could be bad depending upon how you're jumping it. The vehicle wiring is only equipped to send a certain amount of amps to the blower motor & you may be using wiring that is larger, or connecting directly to a power supply that would make even a weak motor work by providing much more amperage than the vehicle usually does..

You can generally note that a worn motor doesn't turn by hand as smoothly as it should, causing the need for maximum amperage to get it started, tough to do in a car when everything is cold.

I suggest a Vehicle specific manual to aid in troubleshooting if you are unfamiliar with removing those components.

good luck.

Blower doesnt work

Ok, this is either a bad resistor switch or, a blown motor. you can test the blower motor by using a volt meter or multimeter as well. In most cases, this will be a bad resistor switch.

I have a 1991 300ce and the heat stopped working

The blower is mounted under the hood beneath the cowl panel. There is a blower regulator that could have gone bad or it is indeed a bad motor. Also have you checked your fuses?  This post is old. Has the problem been fixed? If so I am sorry no one took the time to help you here. If you still have a problem I' be glad to assist you any way I can. Just let me know.
