Question about 2000 Honda Accord
get yourself a haynes or chilton service manual for it and study it then remove the tranny pan, inner filter and change the trans fluid in the tranny. It takes a day. make sure the tranny cooler lines that go to the radiator arent kinked or clogged up either. you will need a new tranny gasket and 4 quarts/(check that amount not 100% sure about 4). check radiator fan operation, I think the radiator fan is ran by engine coolant so your thermostat might be half stuck shut also, possibly try a new or colder thermostat. if none of those ideas get it it will probably have to go in and be looked at but those are the cheaper alternatives.
