Question about 1993 Cadillac DeVille
1993 cadillac sedan deville the antilock light has been on since I bought the car never goes out I even changed both front hub assemblies with the sensor mounted to them, had someone try and pull the codes thru the obd 1 connector mounted underneath the ashtray, and the security light flashed 3 times 12 then 3 times 26 something about LF wheel frequency error. I even tried the off and warm button to display something all I get is 7.0 and if i push low and high buttons goes thru E codes F codes P codes even seen the gas pedal move now I am just worried i threw something off please help I dont know if car runs a little rougher than before doing this but still starts and seems ok Thanks for any help from joe or call me please at 586-489-6278 eastern standard time!!

i would check and make sure that this sensor is clean first and then i would look into having it replaced!! Welcome to the world of caddys

metal particles on the trigger wheel sensor of the rear differential case, this causes a loose of signal and the light to come on. also a broken tooth on the trigger wheel inside the diff can cause this or a dirty/corroded connection to the sensor from water intrusion.

In those cars, the wheel speed sensor is integrated into the wheel bearings. When one of the sensors goes bad, you have to replace the entire wheel bearing. Also, when the sensor(s) go bad, it will cause the loss of anti-lock braking and disable the traction control system.
The only way to identify which wheel bearing it is, is to hook the car up to a scan tool capable of reading ABS codes. That said, the front ones are more notorious for going out than the rear ones.
