If it is a wheel bearing I would not drive it until it is replaced. If the bearing is bad it could get so hot and seize (freeze) up and it could come apart on you while driving. The consequences of that are your whole wheel (rim) and tire assembly will be going one way down the road and you and your vehicle will be going another way, very dangerous. In other words your wheel will become detached from the vehicle.

First remove the wheel that has the grinding noise and rotate the wheel to hear the noise. If it is a muffled grinding noise it will be the bearing. If external it will be a fully worn brake pad

ok, think about mass that moves under the forces of braking, things like engines and gearboxes, have you checked all those mounts for integrity, have a look to see if anything has been rubbing, new shiney spots appearing that weren't there before.

Grind in Rear End

Jack up each wheel and spin it by hand. When you hear that noise that will be a very worn wheel bearing on that wheel that needs to be replaced

Grinding noises and pulls to the right while driving

Sounds like brakes or wheel bearing, have your brakes check out they'll also be able to check your bearing at the same time.

Deep grinding noise coming from front driverside wheel

could be a rock stuck between the brake rotor and calipers or dust sheild...on the other hand could be badly worn brake pads wearing metal in metal.....maybe even worn wheel bearings. when was your last brake inspection(worn brakes)? have you been driving on gravel roads(possible rock)? how long has this noise been occurring for(progressivly getting louder?-does braking effect if(worn brakes)? is it louder when cornering hard-and will it go away when turning the opposite direction (wheel bearings)??

Front end noise when turning. almost sounds like

There are a couple of things to cause metallic sounds when turning. First thing, is if it's a clicking sound when you turn, then you have a cv joint going bad. It's usually more prominent when moving in reverse, however it can happen just as well while moving forewards. Secondly, if it's more of a grinding or scraping noise, we have a couple of options. The sound could be coming from the brakes, if they're worn or have grit stuck in them, or it could be bad bearings in the front wheel hub. The wheel hub has a tendency to making a whining noise when driving; usually most easily heard when driving past buildings. They can also allow the tire/wheel to present the appearance of leaning when looking at it. If bad enough, it can even rub on the brake caliper, or cause the disc brake rotor to wear out the brake pads prematurely. So, to recap: Check:
CV joints, if a clicking sound brakes or wheel hub bearings if grinding or whining sound.

I have a grinding noise in the front drivers side wheel, jus change pads ithink its the wheel hub bearing, what do you thimk?

If the brakes are new check the front wheel bearings ASAP. If they sieze you have massive problems and expensive ones. If the grinding is ther all of the time the bearings are prime suspect.

Since you aready paid $400, go back to ;the shop and get your $'S worth!! Unless someone can prove that the axle bgs were bad, you shoulld ask why pinion & side gears were not diagonsed!!! (dosen't anyone test drive stuff after they "fix" something anymore??? Dosen't anyone give a damn???
If you can't get anywhere with this, find a junkyard unit and install it yourself. It isn't that hard. Just be sure that new lone has the same mount points and gear ratio matches ratio lof front axle.(count gear teeth if you must)
