Hi

This is a common issue in these vehicles to have factory amplifiers. If so, you have to find and energize the amp turn-on wire. This wire might be in the separate. It's usually a pink wire. If there's a pink wire in the second plug behind the radio, try connecting it to the blue/white remote output on your new head unit. Let us know if you want to know something else accept the suggestion.
Thanks for contacting fixya.com

Remove radio, antenna and volume intermitent

Please describe your problem in more detail. Do you mean you removed the radio and now the automatic antenna and volume are intermittent? Or perhaps you removed both the radio and antenna and now the volume is intermittent. Or perhaps you want to know how to remove the radio and antenna because the volume is intermittent.

Radio does not work

what kind of vehicle? Is it a stock radio? Does it never work or is it intermittent?
check fuses and grounds to the stereo. If that all works then its probably the radio itself.
Lastly if you'd provide more info then maybe somebody could give you better tips. Good luck

No sound radio honda accord 2004

Either radio is bad, or you have a loose connection to speakers, or poor ground connection at the radio. If a poor ground connection, the radio will intermittently not work also. Since radio continues to work, but sound does not, it is probably a bad audio circuit in the radio itself.

Intermittant problems with windows and radio not working simultaneously

This happened on my 2001 Firebird. This is due to bad solder on a component called a Body Control Module, found near the kick plate and glove box. Takes about 2 hours to fix. Here's a very helpful website that details everything.

Clock and radio

If your clock doesn't work, it is probably because there is an internal fault within the clock module, itself. This is a common problem in many of the Japanese models - the Toyota Matrix included. The clock may be intermittent or have a dead disply.

If your Matrix clock is dead or intermittent, you can remove it yourself and have it professionally refurbished by Dr. Clock. He offers a lifetime warranty and does top-notch work.

MY FACTORY RADIO VOLUME PROBS

More than likely with a 2003, the speakers that cut out are in the door or doors. Do they cut out of both speakers?

If they cut out of one, then you may have an intermittent speaker ( the wire to the cone becomes partially connected)

If both speakers turn off at the same time and you hear NOTHING on all speakers, then you more than likely have an intermittent connection on the radio itself and probably replacement is probably cheaper than fixing the radio.

One more thing
Factory radios sometimes have an amplifier in them. Sounds funny but they call the Radio in the dash the Head Unit and the amplifier is buried in the dash. You could have a bad amplifier or a loose power connection to it, but that is very unlikely.

Hope this helps.
