Transmission cooler in the radiator seems to be leaking, its a heat exchanger that transfers trans. fluid heat with coolant, ret the rad replaced and and the transmission flushed not just drained and filled cause when you drain a trans you do not empry the torque convertor so have it done my a reputable shop

Why is my 2002 ford escape hesatating going in rerverse.?

Just a guess... your transmission's fluid uptake tube has worked loose. You're getting some air mixed with your ATF. If one bolt has worked entirely loose, I'd be a bit concerned about the other too.

My heater doesnt work it only blows cold air

Could be low on antifreeze. The cooling system will not allow antifreeze to flow into the heater coil if the level is too low. If you check and need to add fluid then look closely for leaks from the hoses, radiator or anywhere else you think it could be escaping from.

I have reverse but no drive has a whinnig sound when cold 2001 ford escape v6 4wd

have you checked your transmission fluid on the dipstick under the hood? if so,then it should be full. look at the dipstick carefully to see the full level make sure if have to add fluid to the transmission that it is fomoco transmission fluid.if you have any doubt about the product, get a sales tech to show you which fluid you need for a ford transmission.there is a difference in the fluid.the whining sound you hear is from the transmission, you may have a leak.check where the vehicles parked for fluid on the ground,it will be red in color.if you do not see red fluid on the ground and the transmission is full of fluid, please repost your question with all the above information, such as full of fluid and reverse only. you may have a leak, which if fluids on the ground will tell you that much.but if it's full of fluid, then that's a different issue altogether.hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com.

Have pink fluid leaking from under the dash.

Hi I am Vortash .. as a guess it may be brake or clutch hydraulic fluid or antifreeze so first look in the radiator expansion tank if the same fluid in there you have a leak in your heater radiator matrix .. if not check the fluid reservoir in the clutch and brake some fluids are a pinkish colour if that is the same then you have either a clutch or brake master cylinder leak hope this is of help .. Regards Vortash ....
