I think you may have fitted the friction plate on backwards...did you find connecting the bell housing tight also ??should just slip on with no resistance at all.

Hi I want to know if i bleed my new clutch will the shudder on first gear go away on my hyundai getz they say must give new clutch time to settle in

No, bleeding your clutch wont' help clutch judder. Neither will giving it time to settle in. That's a "go away and get used to the problem" answer. Likely the result of using cheap after-market parts.

How to bleed the clutch system

First pump the clutch 4-5 times quickly. then siphon out fluid in top container, replace with new fluid of correct class. Slave cylinder at the transmission should have a bleed port or screw. open it and bleed until clean fluid comes out, usually refilling the top 3-4 times. Do not let the top res. go empty! If it still does not disengage the clutch correctly you may need to replace the master clutch cylinder or the slave on the transmission.

Clutch is not disiguaging

Dry of fluid if hydrolic, actuator near clutch is bad (slave cylinder), air in line. Inspect / replace / bleed, or replace clutch and / or componets.

New clutch fitted.hard to go into reverse+1st when engine running

If there is an adjustment on the clutch somewhere, it should be adjusted so that there is only a little free travel (play) at the top of the pedal range. No play at all... puts continuous pressure on the throwout bearing (not good)... tooo much play doesn't allow for full travel of the clutch mechanism to dissengage the clutch fully.
ALSO a clutch disc installed backwards (usualy not possible) or a clutch disc that got bent during instalation (hanging transmission from clutch) has a wobble that causes it to drag even though the cover is providing the propper relief space

Clutch will allow me to turn the car on but I am unable the shift gears.

clutch slave hopefully. check clutch slave fluid, its next to the brake fluid reservoir. it takes brake fluid try bleeding the clutch slave. if it wont bleed then you will need a new clutch slave. If you get the new clutch slave and it still wont actuate correctly then its time for a new clutch. you may be able to shim the clutch slave pin with a small socket untill you get a new clutch but thats not recommended.

Installed new clutch. Having hard time bleeding system.

favourite trick of mine is use assistant to pump up clutch then hold it down ,open bleed nipple on slave and with a bar lever clutch arm right in then repeat a couple of time this normally does it ,if still a problem then hold clutch pedal down with a brick or a broom handle and leave overnight

Bleeding clutch slave cylinder

if you loosten the slave bleeder screw and push in the clutch pedal fluid should come out if not make sure someone holds down the pedal and tighten the screw then pump the clutch a few times and hold the pedal and open the screw if no fluid repeat a couple of times if still no fluid you need either a new master cylinder or just rebuild it( normally cheaper) and if you rebuild it make sure you flush all the lines of debris
