The signals/ and windows are under the driverside dash. Remove the lower half of steering column and the kick panel and u will see the fuse panel for those two items. The fuses are marked. The a/c fuse is located under the hood in the fuse/relay panel.Remove the top and look inside the cap for the correct location of a/c fuse and relay. Hope this will help.

Auxfannotworking what do I look for?

Relay is in the fuse box along with the fuse for the fan.. First check the fuse.always check the easist thing first. Inside the fuse box is a list of which fuse powers each item.. refer to the list. If you have a volt meter you can check the fuse.. or just pull it and replace it. There are spare fuses in the box. The small red tool in the fuse box next to then spares, is a tool to remove the fuses. You can disconnect the fan wires at the plug.. the fan runs on standard 12v system power. You can jump 12v to it to see if it will run.. if it does not run than look at the relay and the Temp senser that
turns the fan on.. If you are going to work on your own car i suggest that you purchase the Chilton Manual for the car.. a really good investment.

My 98 voyager air conditioner only works in high. All associated items like the recirculating fan are the same way. Is this mechanical or electrical?

It sounds electrical. Check all fuses that have to do with the AC. If the fuse is blown the metal strip inside will be broken and possibly blackened. But it definitely sounds electrical.

Fans not coming on for ac or engine cooling what might be wrong the fuse good

There should be a cooling fan relay, usually 1 for the engine and 1 for AC (might be labeled as secondary, or accessory.) I would check that next. A working relay will CLICK when activated. The fans are normally told to turn on by the PCM, which receives a signal from the coolant temperature sensor (CTS). It's possible the CTS is not sending the proper signal to the PCM, but I would first check the relays.

Heater/ac switch won't turn on fan? Checked

Always start at both ends of the problem...check for blown fuses, then hot wire the blower motor. If both check out as good, move to the next items...switch on dash and resistor, then relay. Very likely one of those items have failed.

Condensor fan motor inop - fuse good but replaced anyway - replaced relay. put 12 volts to motor and it worked. what activates the relay to send power to the motor ????

Either radiator fan switch or AC system fan activate relay. Check fan switch or look for AC fan motor fuse. Wiring diagram would help.
