Open the hood, looking at the engine locate the air filter box(large rectangular black plastic box with four fastener clips on each top corner and a rather large 3" or 4" hose connecting to it coming from the engine(intake), the recharge port(low side) is hard to get to and is under the rear of that black plastic air filter box, please note that on all cars the "low" recharge port of any air conditioner system is always the larger valve which is always attached to the larger a/c hose, and is also called the "suction" line port.
The high pressure port is the smaller fitting and is attached also to a smaller diameter air conditioner line, never, ever, attempt to add freon 134a or the old system freon R12 to the high pressure side(the smaller of the two valves) as you may have the freon can become a pressurized bomb exploding in your hand due to the high pressure, that will, instead of sucking the freon out of the freon can and into the a/c system as a charge the high pressure will force high pressure freon gas that the a/c compressor has just compressed into the freon can at over 100 lbs. psi, causing the can to blow without warning.
Please always handle every repair you do on any vehicle with safety being number one priority, wear safety googles(eye/face protection)and protective mechanics gloves on your hands, freon can cause frost bite if over exposed to your skin.

Follow the line from the silver accumulator and back to the compressor. Sometimes if parts have been changed it can chage location but it will remain in between these 2 areas. If at all possible, replace the cap that seems to be missing. Blue or black is acceptable.

OK... Which side of the engine? I don't even have the owners manual, so have no descriptors for your answer.

Tip

Air conditioning

When an vehicle's air conditioning system has not been used for several months, the seals within the system start getting dry. I've never worked on a Peugeot 206 or any other peugeot before, that's why I had no idea where the low pressure ac port was. The high pressure ac port is the easiest to locate, because it is in the engine compartment, facing the car from the front, on left side of the radiator. The low pressure ac port is in the engine compartment, facing the car from the front, to the back in the center, under the windshield. The low pressure ac port and the high pressure ac port both have black dust caps. The low pressure ac port is the smaller of the two.

Where is the ac Low port 2007 ford edge?

The low pressure port is either on the black oblong canister or very close to it. Automakers usually put the high pressure side closer to the radiator. The ports are different sizes so the refill connections should not fit each other, making it harder to connect the wrong port.

Looking for the low port to recharge my air

A/C low side ports are located on the 'thicker' plumbing vs. the 'thinner' plumbing coming off of the compressor.

Just follow the low side pipes from the compressor to the first low side port. It should also fit a quick connector onthe hose/can combination for r134a. The high pressure side port will not work with the low side hose quick connector.

Hope this helps.

Need to see a picture of high and low ports and their locations on a silverado pickup. can only find two ports on the same line -one smaller than the other.

That's them, and only ones, there's an orfic tube in between both ports in the line, that's what changes the pressure from high to low, from one end of the orfic tube to the other, the small port will be the low side, that the one you recharge in, and the big one is high side.Hope this was very helpful.

Where is the low freon port on a 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass?

The low side port for the A/C System for the 1999 Oldsmobile is located between the engine and the firewall on the passenger side. It is very low to reach. Only connect to the system when the engine is completely cool. The little hoses that most parts stores sell WILL NOT WORK FOR THIS PORT!!! You need a long hose.

Where is low side port for recharging a/c. on my 1997 s10. I found 2 ports one on the accumulator and one on the tube, however my charging kit port only fit the port on the accumulator. I assume this port...

The port on the accumulator is the low side. The high side port is smaller than the low side. The low side port is the one that gets cold when the compressor is running.

Cant find Low pressure AC port

Did you check the acumulator? There is a port on it, that is the low side port. Keep in mind that if you have to recharge the system it is because other parts need service (leak in the syst) and whatever refrigerant you put in it will leak out again. The system may work temporarily or may work inefficiently. Also may sure that there is oil in syst.
