Check the evaporator drain, its possible that are clogged (under carpet, under dash passenger side).

Good luck.

Overheating

Was the coolant old and weak? At ten degrees, a weak coolant could result in freezing and that can cause an engine freeze plug to burst open. Check the side of the engine block for signs of leakage around the freeze plugs. Another possibility is the heater hoses. They run along the passenger side of the engine as well. The last possibility is the heater core. If it leaks you may smell coolant inside the passenger compartment. You MAY get a wet floorboard on the passenger side. Coolant leaking from the core usually will fall into the condensation pan for the A/C and run out of the passenger compartment thru the firewall on the passengers side.

Split heater hose.. bad clamp(s).. leaking heater core.. bad gasket all come to mind. Your mechanic can probably give you a much better idea by looking at it.

check top radiator hose goes to thermostat housing sound like its leaking if your engine leaking from left driver side on top of engine it has to be top radiator thermostat hose leaking.wait until engine cool down replace top radiator hose see if coolant leaking still occur if so you could have radiator leak.

Car overheated and lost all power. how do I get it to start?

ENGINE NOT GOING TO START IF GET TOO HOT FIRST THING I WOULD REPLACE THERMOSTAT AND RADIATOR PRESSURE CAP THEN ADD COOLANT UNTIL COOLANT LEVEL CORRECT THATS WHEN THERMOSTAT OPEN UP AND TOP HOSE HOT.CHECK FOR LEAKING RADIATOR HOSES CHECK TOP RADIATOR HOSE CHECK BOTTOM RADIATOR HOSE.CHECK FOR LEAKS AROUND THE RADIATOR LOOK DOWN BELOW COOLANTS FANS CHECK FOR LEAKS AT RADIATOR CORES OR LEAKS AT THE RADIATOR PLASTIC SIDE CONTAINERS. CHECK FOR LEAKS AT WATER PUMP WEEP HOLE AND CHECK FOR LEAKS AT THE HEATER HOSES AROUND ENGINE BLOCK TO THE HEATER CORE HOSES. THERE IS A REASON CAR OVERHEAT.IF CAR OVERHEAT WHILE DRIVING YOU HAVE FAULTY THERMOSTAT OR LEAKING OUT COOLANT OR BLOWN HEAD GASKET.IF ENGINE OVER HEAT WHILE SITTING DURING A LONG IDLING PERIOD.YOU COULD HAVE FAULTY COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR OR FAULTY COOLING FAN FUSE OR RELAY.HOT WIRE COOLANT TO SEE IF IT RUNS IF NO REPLACE FAN MOTOR. IF YES FAN MOTOR COULD HAVE FAULTY WIRE OR PCM FAILURE. CHECK ENGINE CRANKCASE IF OIL LOOKS LIKE MILK SHAKE ENGINE HEAD GASKET LEAKING.

Smelling antifreeze inside truck and coolant leaking on floorboard. what is the problem 1999 ford expedition eddie bauer

If the coolant leak is on the pasenger's side then you have a leak in your heater core. The only way to fix it is replace it. Hope this helps.

Check to see if the cooling fan is operational. some time the fuse will blow, rendering this fan useless. if it dosen't blow when the cpu tells it to , the engine will not cool correctly. also, make sure the thermostat isn't sticking. there are many defective prats in many stores around. the new thermostat you just purchased may be defective.

Passenger floor wet on s60 volvo 2002?

Sounds like a leaking heater core or faulty hose connections.
Sniff a tissue after blotting some of the wetness or; it may not sound appetizing, but to check if it is coolant + water, take a clean cloth, blot the wet spot and touch the other side of the cloth to your tongue.
Coolant doesn't have a strong odor unless it is hot but it lends a sweetness to the coolant that is easy to detect. That is why one shouldn't dump coolant on the ground since domestic animals will lap it up.
