Likewise my 99 Town & Country made a popping noise when I would accelerate. I took it to the dealership and they replaced the spark plugs. Afterward there was no more popping. Unfortunately it cost me $300.00 Good Luck!

2007 dodge caliber rt slap stick put new tires on 3 months ago driver side front tire is worn cant let off wheel car pulls bad to the right side of the road

The popping could be from a bad CV axle joint, or a bad wheel bearing. Better get checked, sounds very worn. Raise the wheel on a jack and watch for play. Grab wheel at 3 and 9 o'clock, and shake back and forth-watch for play. Wheel bearing? CV joint -is boot still good? Ball joints at bottom of wheel attaching point to the control arm-check this for play, too.

I bought a new door latch for passenger door that dodge said was broken but i cant find out how to take door apart and to install the new on

Hi there. I myself have a dodge and just last week was working on the inside of my door panels. To take the interior door panel off you may need a screwdriver to help. With the door open you first remove any screws that might be accessible with a screwdriver. once you are done or is there aren't any go to the bottom corner of the door that is opposite of the hinge side, then with the flat head screwdriver, insert it inbetween the plastic door panel and the metal part of the door. (At this point you may feel like your going to break the door but you wont) slowly start to pry the panel away untill you can get your fingers between the panel and door, then pull the panel away slowly. You will hear what sounds like plastic popping, that is little plastic rivets comeing out of the holes. keep doing that to the rest of the panel untill its loose. At this point you may need to twist off the door lock knob or pop it through the hole. then you can pop out the switches and disconnect the wires. the door should come free and you will be able to see what you are trying to replace. It will just bolt in. installation is reverse of removal. I really hope this helps you, please rate if i do.

Thank you for your question.

Popping from rear wheel when turning also whell seems to jump

Does it have rear shock absorbers? if so check them for oily residue if its around then one on that side then its sticking due to leaking fluid, they dont leak all over the place but you can feel the oil around it if it has been.

If it has springs on the back one could have snapped at the top out of view this would also cause the popping noise when it jumped out and would feel like the wheel.

Hope this helps.

Is there any wat to diagnose timming belt/chain failure on a 1999 intrepid

put it into gear and SLOWLY push it backwards and forwards, if you can get a mate to help all the better. If you hear a 'bang, it's either a valve or piston jamming. What I would recomend before doing that is to get a socket onto the bottom crank wheel, turn it over slowly and you should get a 'shoosh' out of the engine when you turn the enine over, if you get any grinds or clanks, STOP immediadtely and call a mechanic. That new it will be a belt not chain, at that age, the damagewill be immense if you try to turn it over on the key.

Best of luck,

I have a 2000 dodge sport van with a problem passenger window.

Should be 2-3 screws holding it on. Remove the screws, get a trim stick, and pry the panel off. You will hear some plastic tabs pop out of their holders, but that is all.

Perhaps the compression guage u used has a defective schrader valve, if the compression was that low it would run bad, and mileage would not be 19 MPG. Glad to hear all is well.

Head lights will dim

You might want to check for a loose ground (negative) wire somewhere. That could explain the popping with the radio.
