Make sure that the wires are tied into the battery, then you might( if all else fails) put a toggle switch in the manually run it. on older carvans the wires get very corroded so that could also be a problem

Name of sensor too replace for radiator fan if changing thermostat doesn't work. Left side was changed, worked then both stopped working and the needle went to H.

Unless you have a check engine light on then the sensor (called the ECT sensor) in question is not the problem, do you have a C.E.L. on in the dash display? Have you tested the fan motor, it is ok? Is the cooling fan motor getting power when you jumper the fan relay socket?

Location of radiator fan fuse or fuse link ? Fan doesn't work.

Both should be a fuse under the hood, or under the dash, if there is a fuse link, it will be along the hot side of the wiring on the fan leading into source of power.

Why are my cooling fans for radiator running constantly?

The cooling fans are supposed to run any time the a/c is on in order to keep air flowing across the condenser. Your a/c will not work properly at idle if they quit.

I have a arctic cat700 efi,the fan won't come on,I changed the sensor on the radiator and the switch on the head,it came on a couple of times then quit

Try powering up the fan via battery terminals, if it still doesn't work then your fan motor is no good, hope this helps

Electrical fans wont kick on, car will run hot if they dont kick in..Tried changing fuses still wont come on..

The fans have a seperate temperature sensor either in the radiator or the block. Follow the fan wires to locate this sensor and unplug the sensor and with the key on touch the wires together. If the sending unit is bad the fans will come on. If the sending unit works the fan motor is bad.

Radiator fan not coming on. i replace the 2 relays and the one sensor. what else could it be. i can make the fan work. just unplug from the sensor.

Check fluids. If you are excessively low, the sensor in the radiator will not have anything to read. If the coolant level is OK, you may have a defective thermostat. If the thermostat is defective, this will prevent the hot coolant from inside the motor from reaching the sensor in the radiator..
