These systems are very complex , you could have a short in the wiring somewhere to a sensor going bad or the switch for stability control could be bad . If you handy and know a little about automotive electrical systems you mite go http://www.alldate.com/ and spend $16.00 for repair information for a year . This is not like Haynes Manuals ,Haynes manuals just are not that good. Are any lights lit on the dash, abs , stability, check engine etc...
one or more of your sturst are going bad. you need to have your truck scanned. auto zone scans for free. they should be able to tell you which strut is bad.
try cleaning the egr valve maybe replacing it 2002 i dont think it would be your injectors or pump but there could be carbon built up in the egr valve so try that hope i was help.
Either the systems are inadvertly switched off or the system(s) is faulty. Sometimes a low battery charge may switch these off to preserve power and produce similar messages.
