It's the engine computer going though a relearn. The computer just lost it's memory like your radio. Make a couple of trips. It should go away.
Although there isn't a good excuse in a late model car to lose its ECU settings during a battery replacement, this may be what has happened.
I would give it a few days (or ignition cycles) to allow it to recover and have the ECU scanned (free) at an auto parts chain store, before going to a pro.
The engine computer does indeed need to relearn the idle and throttle speed. The owners manual gave me some helpful steps, but I had to add one more.
Start the car and shut down all accessories (lights, radio, heat/ac, etc). Let it warm up. Let it idle for at least one minute. Turn on the Air Conditioning for at least one minute.

Even when I try to drive the car it will not go past 750 rpms. It is also taking longer to crank....like it doesn't want to start.
