have you ckecked your fuel filter and also fuel injectors.and have you changed your air filter

You may have a bad Hall Effect Pickup Coil which is located in the distributor. This is usually the part that I see that's gone bad when I come across a no fuel/no spark problem on these.

If your truck is a 4cyl. it is 1, 3, 4, 2 and if it is a V6 then it is 1, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. Hope this helps.

It could be several things.. If you haven't replaced your distibutor cap and rotor for awhile You might want to try that.. or could be fuel injectors are getting clogged. or fuel pump getting weak.. which is a common thing for dodge.

Hello steve_wea38: My name is Roger and I will answer your question. There is no fuel filter that is replaceable mounted on the frame of the truck. Dodge only has a filter on the fuel pump module. If you are having fuel pressure problems the only repair is a pump. Unless the problem lies in the injectors.Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer you received. ASD is in the engine compartment fuse block.

The pump relay should be there also. Check your fuse panel in the truck though.

Fuses, Relays & Circuit Breakers The fuse panel box is to the right of the glove box with the glove box door opened or beneath the instrument panel (dashboard) on 1989-93 models.


Pull out the fuse panel for access to the blade type fuses

make sure that the exhaust system is not restricted at one of the cat converters,either plugged or damaged.
