How do I unlock my radio for my 1999 Pontiac Grand Am?

You need radio code to unlock it. The only place is a GM dealer they will give you the unlock code after they retrieve the factory code

no new code is needed u need to got to your nearest gm dealer and they will give you the correct code and how to put it in to your raido

Check your fuses. I belive the radio fuse is on the passenger side of of dash where it meets the door.

general motors will get you that information with proof of ownership and nobody here can legally

you will need to call the dealer, they will tell you to push and hold two of the preset buttons to get a code and then two more for another code then they take both codes to get the code to unlock the radio, call parts dept, hope this helps.

Try this, Late 90’s to Present vehicles will use VIN number recognition. You will have to use the last six digits of the vehicle’s VIN number to unlock the radio.

If you dont know the code you will have to take it to the dealer.
